Two Distinctions and a 100% Pass Rate in the 2025 University Entrance Exams: The Excellence of Les Alzines’ Baccalaureate

Les Alzines proudly celebrates the outstanding results of its students in the 2025 University Entrance Exams (PAU). Marta Casas Garriga and Anna de Bolós Palomino have received the prestigious Distinction, awarded only to the highest scores in Catalonia, placing them among the top students with an average above 9 out of 10 in the general phase.

In addition, 100% of the students who sat the exams passed, continuing the strong track record of success that defines our school.

“This achievement is the result of the students’ sustained effort, the personalised support of the teaching staff, and the constant backing of their families,” says Judit Acín, Deputy Head Director of Baccalaureate. “Marta and Anna are examples of perseverance and a passion for learning, but we also want to acknowledge the dedication of the entire teaching team and the rest of the students, who achieved excellent results.”

Distinctions that Reflect a Solid Educational Project

The Distinction, awarded by the Catalan Government, highlights not only the talent of the awardees but also the strength of Les Alzines’ educational model. The school is committed to:

  • Active methodologies that promote critical thinking and inquiry.
  • Personalised academic and personal guidance, essential for identifying potential and setting future goals.
  • Multilingual environments that prepare students for a global society.
  • Excellence and enrichment programmes (Olympiads, scientific and literary contests, international volunteering) that complement the curriculum.

Looking Ahead

Marta plans to study Artificial Intelligence at UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya), and Anna aims to pursue a degree in Industrial Engineering, also at UPC—both demanding disciplines where their skills, nurtured at Les Alzines, will surely shine: analytical thinking, humanistic sensitivity, and a strong sense of purpose.

For families who trust our Baccalaureate programme, these results are a true guarantee of quality. Still, the challenge continues.

“Numbers are important, but our main goal is to shape individuals with integrity, capable of transforming society with passion and professionalism,” concludes Esther Latre, Head of Les Alzines.

Congratulations to all!

At Les Alzines, we congratulate Marta, Anna and the entire Class of 2025 on their exceptional achievements, and thank the teachers, families and support staff for their collective effort. We will continue working with the same passion so that every student can fully develop their talents and contribute positively to society.
