One Distinction and a 100% Pass Rate in the 2026 University Entrance Exams

"Results matter, but our main goal is to educate well-rounded individuals who are capable of transforming society with enthusiasm and professionalism"

We congratulate all Les Alzines students on their outstanding PAU results: 100% of our students passed the University Entrance Examinations, and Nora Pou Teixidor has been awarded a Distinction.

This year, Les Alzines is celebrating excellent results in the 2026 University Entrance Examinations (PAU). Student Nora Pou Teixidor has been awarded a Distinction, reserved for the highest marks in Catalonia, placing her among the group of students who achieved an average score above 9 out of 10 in the access phase. Furthermore, every student who sat the examinations successfully passed, maintaining the school's 100% pass rate achieved in recent years.

"This success is the result of our students' sustained effort, the personalised guidance provided by our teaching staff and the constant support of their families," explains the Deputy Head of Baccalaureate, Judit Acín. "Nora is an example of perseverance and a genuine passion for learning, but we also want to recognise the work of our entire teaching team and all the students, who have achieved outstanding results."

Distinctions that endorse an educational project

The Distinction, awarded by the Government of Catalonia, recognises not only the talent of the award-winning students, but also the strength of the educational project at Les Alzines. The school is committed to:

  • Active learning methodologies that encourage critical thinking and research.
  • Personalised academic and personal guidance, helping students identify their strengths and define their future goals.
  • Multilingual learning environments that prepare students for a global society.
  • Excellence and enrichment programmes (academic Olympiads, science and literary competitions, international volunteering) that complement the curriculum.

Looking ahead

Nora plans to study the Degree in Data Science and Engineering at the UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya), a demanding field in which she will undoubtedly make the most of the skills she developed at Les Alzines: analytical thinking, a humanistic outlook, and a strong vocation for service.

For the families who place their trust in our Baccalaureate programme, these results are a guarantee of quality. Nevertheless, our challenge continues. "Results matter, but our main goal is to educate well-rounded individuals who are capable of transforming society with enthusiasm and professionalism," concludes the Headmistress of Les Alzines, Esther Latre.

Congratulations to all!

At Les Alzines, we would like to congratulate all our 2nd Baccalaureate students on these outstanding results and thank our teachers, families and non-teaching staff for their shared commitment and dedication. We will continue working with the same passion to help every student develop her full potential and make a positive contribution to society.

You will always be welcome here. Farewell, and Ad Astra!
