Primary: May Pilgrimages

It is part of the Church’s tradition to dedicate the month of May to Our Lady. During this time, Christians try to keep Mary more present in our hearts. At school, it is customary to make a visit or pilgrimage to a shrine or image of the Virgin Mary.

 On Thursday, May 8, our Primary students will go on pilgrimage to different places depending on their year group:

• Year 1: St. Mary of Vilabertran church and Dalí's Ant Trail.
• Year 2: St. Mary of Vilabertran church and a visit to the Dalí Museum.
• Years 3 & 4: Our Lady of Mercy church in Canet de Mar.
• Year 5: Our Lady of Sorrows church in Arbúcies.
• Year 6: Parish of L’Estartit and a Nautilus boat tour as a closing activity for the stage.

We will leave school at 9:00 a.m. and return at 4:45 p.m.

Students should bring breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.

 They may wear appropriate casual clothing for the visit.
