Extracurricular Les Alzines | Girona Futsal

Dear families,

We present to you a proposal for an extracurricular activity that Girona Futsal wants to promote in Les Alzines for the 2024-2025 school year: the aim is to develop futsal, which would complement the comprehensive training of the school's students. The structure of the project, the location of the activities in the same educational center and the timetables allow both the reconciliation of work and family life, as well as the access of all students to sports activities, avoiding travel outside their usual environment.

OBJECTIVES OF EXTRA-SCHOOL

The main objective of the activity will be to find the participation and promotion of this sport as a healthy and fun activity, respecting the values ​​of cooperation, fair play, respect, etc. In addition, it will allow us to give dissemination and visibility of grassroots women's sport and women's futsal. Teach all families and players our philosophy and work methodology, and transmit a series of values ​​such as teamwork, group cohesion, the culture of effort, etc.

STRUCTURE and DEVELOPMENT OF EXTRA-SCHOOL

On a financial level, the extracurricular will have a cost per student of €25 per month, taking into account an initial enrollment of €10 at the time of registration, to cover the costs of purchasing sports equipment.

On the other hand, the proposal will be the formation of age groups. Participation and the total amount of registrations will be taken into account when forming the following groups:

➔ Initiation Group (1st, 2nd and 3rd PRIM)

➔ Training Group (4th, 5th and 6th PRIM)

➔ Improvement Group (1st ESO and 2nd ESO)

Within the project, two weekly sessions of one hour and fifteen minutes each are proposed, taught in the same facilities. The distribution of days and times may vary, for example, Monday and Wednesday, Wednesday and Friday, or Tuesday and Thursday, at noon and/or afternoon.

Together with the families, the possibility of competing at federated level (Catalan Football Federation) or not will be assessed, especially with the improvement group.

To be able to confirm all these aspects (days, schedules and federated competition), you should fill out this form in order to evaluate and determine the preferences, feasibility and availability of the participants.

ASSESSMENT AND FOLLOW-UP OF EXTRA-SCHOOL

The development of the activity will be evaluated and directed on a daily basis by the sports monitors. There will also be a coordinator who will be in charge of any management and advocacy, monitoring the progress of the participants, communication with families and the school, etc.

The methodology will be active, flexible, participative, integrative and natural, which will allow the participants to feel like protagonists and participants in their learning.

SUMMARY OF THE PROPOSAL:

➔ Price: €25 per month | €10 registration fee (at the time of registration).

➔ Days: Monday and Wednesday; Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday and Thursday.

➔ Hours: noon (1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.) or afternoon (5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.).

➔ Federated competition: to be confirmed with the family.
