Dear parents,
We inform you that this year Les Alzines will participate as a school in the popular Cursa del Carrer Nou which will be held on: SUNDAY 20 OCTOBER 2023.
Students who wish to register must send the signed authorization form together with the exact amount of the registration to the extracurricular coordinator (Roser Juanola) or to the Secretary before Wednesday 16 October.
We encourage you to participate!
INFORMATION ON CHILDREN'S RACES 1 and 2:
- 1st Race:
Kindergarten* I4, I5 and 1st and 2nd Primary students (born between 2020 and 2017)
Departure: 09:00 am - Route of about 500 meters - Price: €5
*We recommend that kindergarten students run accompanied by an adult.
- 2nd Course: 3rd, 4th and 5th Primary Students (born in 2014, 2015, 2016)
Departure: 09.10am - Route of about 1200 meters - Price: €5
INFORMATION ON THE 10 "Milla Urbana del Carrer Nou" (FEMALE CATEGORY):
Girls from 11 years old (born in 2013 or previous years).
This race is timed and a number-chip will be worn which must be returned at the end of the race.
Departure: 09.25am - Route of about 1609 meters - Price: €8
Meeting place and time:
•We will meet at 08.30am in Plaça Josep Pla. There we will warm up and distribute bibs. You need to be very punctual to be ready when they leave (which will be in the direction of Pont de Pedra).
•Once the race is over, parents can pick up their daughters at the finish line or at Plaça Josep Pla, where refreshments are available. (The arrival is at Carrer Nou at Carrer Grober, the same point of departure, and then you must continue through the tunnel on the right of Carrer Grober to access Plaça Josep Pla)
It is required to bring:
• The school's sports equipment: the gray short-sleeved shirt and the short blue trousers.
• ESPECIALLY don't forget to bring 2 unmissable pins to put on the number that we will give you during the warm-up.
