GENERAL – Collection of essential items for mothers and babies in vulnerable situations

Dear families,

As students of the International Baccalaureate at Les Alzines, we’re excited to share with you a solidarity initiative we’ve decided to lead.

Hogar de María, a non-profit organization based in the centre of Girona, has reached out to the school to ask for our collaboration. This organization provides support and care for pregnant women and mothers with babies up to 2 years old who are in vulnerable situations.

They’ve shared a list of essential items they currently need, and we want to do our part to help.

Items you can bring:

• Diapers (sizes 3, 4 and 5)
• Personal hygiene products for mothers
• Household cleaning products (no bleach)
• Baby cologne
• Baby wipes

You’ll find collection boxes at the entrance of both school offices where you can leave your donations.

The campaign will run from Monday, May 12 to Friday, May 23.
