Day with the Els Joncs Foundation

Year 4 ESO students would like to support the Els Joncs Foundation, which works towards the employment inclusion of young people with intellectual disabilities.

On Thursday 16 April, they have organised a day inviting some of these young people to our school, with the aim of getting to know them and taking part together in recreational activities and a football match “Les Alzines - Fundació Girona Genuine”. The aim is to raise awareness that people with intellectual disabilities are part of society and should be fully included.

To raise funds, there will be a charity breakfast open to the whole school. We encourage you to take part by bringing cash donations to contribute to this initiative, which has been prepared with great enthusiasm and commitment.

Through this project, students experience commitment in an active way, develop values such as solidarity, generosity and empathy, and discover that these values can make a difference.

We are pleased to share this project, prepared with effort and dedication by the Year 4 ESO students, and we encourage you to take part in this initiative.
