1st ESO - Dual Diploma

Dear 1st year ESO families:

As we informed you in the parents meeting, next year the school will teach the Dual Diploma / High School Diploma in an itinerary that will begin in the 2nd year of ESO and will end in 1st year of Baccalaureate.

Les Alzines offers this program as the result of an agreement with Academic Corporation, the leading school and educational institution in the United States. This initiative responds to the desire of the school to promote multilingualism in the training we provide and to deepen it. Through this agreement, from the 2nd year of ESO, the students who wish to do so will be able to obtain the double degree program of the Spanish and American Baccalaureate. From 2nd year of ESO our students may be enrolled in school and simultaneously in a High School in the USA, studying both studies at the same time.

The Dual Diploma program is carried out 100% online and as if it was an extracurricular activity. The students must take a total of 6 credits of the North American curriculum during ESO and 1st of Baccalaureate. Through the validation of their studies at Les Alzines, they will be able to obtain the double Baccalaureate degree: the one from here and the High School degree in the United States.

There are many values ​​and advantages that the "International Dual Baccalaureate Diploma" program brings to all its students, among which three main objectives stand out:
