1st BAT - Trip to Pamplona

Dear families of 1st Year Baccalaureate,

As informed during the parents' meeting in September, on April 9, 10, and 11, the 1st Baccalaureate students will participate in a university and cultural trip to Pamplona and San Sebastián.

This trip is part of the university discovery project offered during this school year. On this occasion, the students will visit the University of Navarra, where they will enjoy a guided tour of the various faculties and the campus and experience being university students for a day.

Accommodation will be at the Santiago Apóstol hostel, located in Puente la Reina, 23 km from Pamplona.

Below are the activities planned for this trip:

Wednesday, April 9:

• Departure at 9:00 AM from Les Alzines
• Midday/afternoon: Lunch and visit to Zaragoza
• Evening: Arrival at the Santiago Apóstol hostel in Puente la Reina. Dinner at the hostel.

Thursday, April 10:

• Visit to the various faculties of the University of Navarra
• Tour of the university campus and lunch in the university dining halls
• Round table discussion with students from different faculties
• Visit to the Museum of the University of Navarra
• Pintxos dinner in Pamplona
• Return to the hostel

Friday, April 11:

• Visit to the city of San Sebastián
• Visit to the Tecnun School of Engineering for interested students; others will enjoy free time to explore San Sebastián.
• Return to Girona. Estimated arrival time: between 10:00 and 11:00 PM

The approximate cost of the trip is 200€, which includes transportation, accommodation at the hostel in Puente la Reina, and meals for these days.

Students must bring lunch for the first day and some money for the "pintxos" dinner on Thursday, April 10, and lunch on Friday.

For logistical reasons, we request an advance payment of 100€ by Tuesday, December 10. If payment is not made by this date, we will assume that the student will not participate in the trip.

The difference between the advance payment and the final cost of the trip will be paid using the same method. We will send you a message with the exact amount. Later, we will also provide an authorization form and the trip rules, which must be signed by both you and your daughter and handed in to the course tutor.
