Les Alzines collaborates with the Impuls Foundation to support the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital in the fight against childhood cancer.

From the school a Solidarity Chocolate was organized

Last Friday, November the 12th, Les Alzines from Girona, in collaboration with the Impuls Foundation, held, one more year, a Solidarity Chocolate to join the fight for the “International Day of Childhood Cancer.” In total, 1,601 euros were collected in full destined to the Sant Joan de Déu Hospital.

The school prepared chocolate with gingerbreads for snacks and many students from the Upper Primary and Secondary Cycle were able to voluntarily collaborate in this project by donating 3€. In the preparation of this snack, all those celiac or lactose intolerant people were taken into account.

It was a very fun and enriching day. The educational project of the school, Aude! 25 is made up of four axes, one of them is the Social Commitment, which contemplates the need to educate the students to be people of solidarity. "We set ourselves a challenge: that our students are happy helping others and with an active sensitivity towards the environment," says Esther Latre, director of the school.
