On the afternoon of Friday, May 24th, we celebrated the great farewell party for I5! It was a day filled with emotions, smiles, and a few tears, as our little heroes said goodbye to their time in Preschool.
After a very beautiful and emotional entrance, the I5 children delighted us with two songs, one in Spanish and one in Catalan. They also showcased their linguistic and artistic skills with a small play in English.
One of the most touching moments of the afternoon was when the students performed the version of the Swallows from Gaudeamus. This song brought more than a few tears to the eyes of parents, students, and teachers, who felt every note and word deeply.
The I5 parents wanted to give a special gift to the school and presented the Preschool teachers with a bag of balls, some storybooks, a delicious cream cake, and a beautiful plant. In turn, the school also wanted to show appreciation to the students by giving each of them an image of Our Lady of Preschool and a portfolio with a collection of photos.
Preschool is coming to an end, a stage where our students have grown so much. We wish you all the best, good luck, Swallows, as you embark on this new journey into Primary School.
