Dear families,
We inform you that next Monday, April 29 at 8:30 p.m. in the student dining room and as part of the performance "El mmaca a tocar. Get closer to the mmaca" will come to our school Mr. Anton Aubanell for offering us the "Mathematics in Family" conference.
The speaker is a mathematician, professor of secondary education and professor of Mathematics Didactics at the UB. Member of the Museum of Mathematics of Catalonia, ADEMGI, ABEAM and the Cubic Group of the University of Barcelona.
Is mathematics only learned at school or can we also learn it in the family? Can mothers and fathers help our children learn math?
The conference will try to answer these questions by showing that, from the family, we can contribute to mathematical education. Some general thoughts on how we can help will be shared and everyday situations in family life where it is possible to do math will be shown: shopping, cooking, travel, sports, in the media.
We encourage you to come and invite your friends who might be interested, as it is open to everyone.
