GENERAL - Christmas Campaign: "Be You the King"

Dear Parents,

We inform you that for Christmas, the Solidarity Commission (AMPA) is working again with the campaign "Be you the King": a non-profit volunteer work stimulated by young people from Girona committed to the community and wanting to improve society, which consists of collecting, cleaning, fixing , organize, wrap and distribute second-hand toys that will later be distributed on Three Kings Day among families in a situation of economic vulnerability.

Unlike other toy collection campaigns, the members of this volunteer group do the entire process, from collecting the toys to going to the houses disguised as pages to see the illusion of the boys and girls when they receive their gifts.

Is collected:

• Books (not crossed out and without names)
• Puzzles
• Table games
• Toys
• Sports equipment (bicycles, scooters, balls ...)
• Educational material
• Kitchens

The collection points will be trunks that will be located at the entrances of Preschool and the General Secretariat. The campaign will last from December the 11st to the 18th.
