ESO - Uniform regulations

In order to ensure a good atmosphere, cordiality and respect among all

Dear ESO families,

As we informed you at the parents' meeting last September 19, this year we continue with the Coexistence Committee in order to ensure a good atmosphere, cordiality and respect between all members of our educational community. This Committee is made up of two professors, the psychopedagogue of the stage, the ESO coordinator and the deputy director of ESO and Baccalaureate.

Until today we have been working on a topic that worries us and is important: the school uniform and how our students wear it. On our website you will find the document that specifies what the uniform consists of (the street uniform and the one they use when doing Physical Education).

We find that students often do not wear it correctly, especially with regard to the length of the skirt: for this reason, we have established a warning and consequences protocol to know how to act when we repeatedly encounter this fact.

Below we detail it for you:

First notice to the student: The teaching staff speaks with her and communicates this to the personal tutor, who also speaks with the student and sends an email to the parents informing them of this notice.

Second notice to the student: The teaching staff follows the same procedure as before. This time the personal tutor calls home and communicates the consequences if there is a third warning.

Third notice to the student: We will make her wear uniform pants (unique and unisex model) bought from the school. The personal tutor will call home and inform that in the next monthly receipt 19.95 euros will be charged for these pants. From this moment on, the student must come in trousers until her skirt is fixed, or wear trousers, if she so wishes.

For any other aspect related to not wearing the uniform properly (unofficial sweatshirt, sports shoes instead of school shoes, etc.), the usual protocol of disobedience collected in the NOFCs will be followed. (Minor faults and their accumulation with the corresponding consequences).

The tutors have been informing the students about this new protocol. What is more important is that we all take care of this aspect of our school. We must not lose sight of the fact that the uniform represents them, them and Les Alzines, and it is important to take care of it and wear it correctly.

Thank you for your trust.

Yours faithfully,

Núria Vila
