5th and 6th Primary - Informational meeting about the stay in Ireland

Like we have been doing since some years ago, we are preparing one stay in Ireland for pupils that actually are doing Primary 5 and Primary 6 and that will last 9 weeks during the first term of the next course. Each student is going to live with one different family and she will hold some daily lessons in an Irish school. To sum up, one tutor is going to go with the students during all their stay and this tutor is going to coordinate school with families and will attend families in case they need it.

The selection of the school and families is realised by SLS (Shandon Language Solutions) which has a large experience organising pupils' stays and supervising their attention during their stay in Dublin.

Our experience of the previous years, forces us to be very exigent with the selection of the pupils that can attend the stay. Parents have to be very informed and accept the indications from the document that we will give to you through one personal interview with the school coordinator.

The necessary conditions of the students are:

• To have good qualifications during all the school year because they will follow contents from the Irish educational system. Despite this, they will work on some subjects with contents that we will tell you here in the school.
• Character and maturity suitable with the age that guarantee a good behaviour in the school and that allow girls to adapt in new environments, situations and traditions that she will live during a large period of time.

Parents who are interested in having more concrete information can come to the general information meeting of this stay, on Tuesday 8th February in the school library at 20:30h.
