Dear parents,

As we have been doing for years, we are preparing a stay in Ireland for students who are currently in 5th and 6th grade, which will last 9 weeks during the first term of next year (when they are in 6th or 1st ESO).

Each student will live with a family and attend classes daily in an Irish school. In addition, a tutor will accompany the students throughout their stay, coordinate families and schools, and attend to each one personally.

The selection of schools and families is carried out by SLS (Shandon Language Solutions), which has long experience in organizing students' stays and, in addition, supervises their care during their stay in Dublin.

The experience of recent years forces us to be very demanding in the selection of the students who can attend. Parents must be very well informed and accept the instructions in the document that will be given to them through a personal interview with the school coordinator.

The necessary conditions for the student are:

  • Have good grades throughout the course, as the students follow the contents of the Irish education system. In addition, in Dublin they will have to work on some subjects with content that we will tell you from the school.
  • Age-appropriate character and maturity that guarantee good behavior at school and allow him to adapt to the new environments and customs he will encounter and with which he will have to live for a long season.
  • A sufficient level of English to be able to hold a minimal conversation, since if this is not the case, it takes a long time for them to start talking with the family and integration is more expensive, in addition, they do not follow English classes well.

Parents interested in receiving more specific information can come to the general information meeting on February 2 at 8:30 p.m. in the 4tB classroom.

We would appreciate it if you could confirm your attendance using this form before Wednesday, 1 February.
