GENERAL - Monthly campaign to collect products for Cáritas

Dear families,

A few days ago it was published in various media that, given the current circumstances of the health and economic crisis, the Girona Food Bank had increased its activity by 35% compared to last year. In the province of Girona there are currently 42,000 people who need this service.

It is for this reason that from the school we would like to promote a campaign to collect the products that Cáritas has marked as a priority among the students of ESO and Baccalaureate: sunflower oil, flour, rice, pasta, cookies and shower gel.

It would be a monthly campaign in which each course brings one of the mentioned products only for one month, so it would be distributed as follows:

• April: 3rd of ESO and 4th of ESO
• May: 2nd of ESO
• June: 1st of ESO

We would be excited if your daughters do this campaign on their own, so that is: they will be deprived themselves of some personal expense to invest in the purchase of any of the products; It will be necessary for you to encourage them, of course, but we think that this action can help them become aware that there are currently people very close to us who do not have the most basic things to live on.
