ESO & BAC - Pilgrimage

Dear families,

Next Thursday, May 20th, the primary school students will make their pilgrimage to different places. It is part of the tradition of the Church that in many places the month of May is dedicated to the Virgin. At this time, Christians strive to have Mary more present in our hearts.

In the school it is tradition to visit or pilgrimage to a Shrine or image of the Virgin.

This year it will be:

• 1st ESO: Church of Sant Pere a Besalú.
• 2nd ESO: Parapet walk from Platja de Riells to Sant Martí d'Empúries. Pilgrimage to the Basilica.
• 3rd ESO: Montserrat.
• 4th ESO: Sant Martí d'Empúries and theatrical visit to the Roman city.
• 1st of Btx: Sanctuary del Àngels. (Walking from Celrà, the arrival at the school will be at 2.30pm)

We will leave school at 9am and we will return at 4:45 pm.

It is necessary that they bring breakfast and lunch and comfortable shoes.
